本研究從四個層面檢視國內九本基礎新聞採寫教科書中的性別意識：包括其如何界定新聞工作者、新聞價值、使用語言中的性別偏見；同時，並以量化分析方式檢視這些教科書中所舉的新聞範例中所出現的男女角色數量、類別、和正負面形象等，以了解這些教科書所呈現的性別角色刻板形象。同時，根據台灣社會婦運發展的階段，將其分為傳統時期（1970年之前）、拓荒期（1970年代）、奠基期（1980年代）、成熟期（1990年代至今）；將這些教科書分置於這四個時期的背景下，了解其性別意識的脈胳及意義。本研究並依據以上的討論以及英文的教科書中的性別觀點的教材內容，提出對我國增進基礎新聞採寫教科書的性別觀點的建議。

Abstract ｜
This paper is to examine the gender consciousness of Taiwan’s basic journalistic textbooks from feminist perspectives, including the definition of reporters, the news values, the gender bias in language, and the gender stereotypes. Meanwhile, these textbooks have been analyzed from four periods of Taiwan’s women movement: the traditional phase (before 1970), the beginning phase (1970’s), the foundational phase (1980’s), and the maturing phase (1990’s to now). Based on the above analysis and the English journalistic textbooks with gender emphasis, the paper also make some suggestions to advance the critical gender awareness of Taiwan’s journalistic textbooks.
