本文以論述分析的研究取向檢視台灣的性教育的論述表現與相關的教育實踐,研究者採納批判性多元文化主義的觀點,依次檢視性取向、男女社會性別等「差異」,在性教育相關論述中是如何的被處理與談論,思索「否定他者」的論述策略如何將相關的性教育實踐和立場導引至特定的發展方向。研究者首先將探討異性戀霸權主導的性教育論述如何再現同性戀者的性及身體,而後將分析多元文化的觀點如何在既有論述之中呈現?而多元文化思潮之「尊重差異」的精神,又該如何融入於性別教育之中?針對衛生教育體系與醫療專家主導所委託編製的中學生性教育教材與相關論述資料以及性解放論女性主義論者的性別教育論述分別作解析。結果發現:傳統衛生教育體系所生產出來的性教育論述仍是相當貶抑同性戀等異己,而其所宣稱的多元文化關懷也嫌名不符實,身體的自主與經驗更是未曾被納入論述的內容之中加以考量。
  而另一方面,性/別教育論述雖不「恐同」(homophobia),卻也失之簡化的將青少年的情感(欲)教育簡化成為多多歷練即可平常心看待情感的分與合;而在多元文化觀點的部分,雖是最早標榜性教育需要是多元文化的論述,卻同樣缺乏「尊重異己」的精神展現,其論述操作策略是將女性二分為情欲保守的好女人和情欲解放的女人,將霸王花學生與情欲保守的老師對立,來申言情欲解放的性/別教育,其實是非常違反多元文化精神的。

  最後,筆者將探討的焦點集中在探討性教育之實施是否應該男女有別以及性教育論述之中身體的定位兩個議題,希望能提供幾個未來發展的可能性,生產出具有女性主義觀點、能夠揭示性別政治並促進性別平權的新性/別教育論述。

Abstract |

The purpose of this paper is to analyze Taiwan’s sex education discourses from feminist perspectives. On the one hand, to demonstrate the gender ideology and the discursive strategies of the discourses, the author focuses on the sex education discourses developed by the medical professionals and the hygiene education professors. On the other hand, contrasting the hegemonic sex education discourse with the sexuality education discourse developed by The Center for the Study of Sexuality, National Central University, the author also demonstrates both of these two set of discourses lacking multicultural perspectives and practical implications.
Beginning by pointing out the homophobia complex in the hegemonic discourses of sex education, the author argues the social/cultural structural constraints should be dealt with more rigidly in the works. Then, an examination focused on “multicultural concerns” is present in the paper. Finally, the author discusses the politics of gender differences and emphasizes the issues of “to divide/ combine or not” should be considered more practically and seriously.

After analyzing the two oppositional discourses, the paper concludes with some suggestions for the future possible development of the more gender-egalitarian sexuality education, including the discourses as well as education practices.
