本文以徽州地區女祠堂為研究對象，力圖探討它在婦女生活中的地位與作以及它所包含的文化內涵。文章第一部份介紹徽州地區現存女祠堂的基本情況並進行簡單的分類和特徵概括。第二部份考求女祠堂的名字來源。第三部分探討女祠堂與宗族禮法之間的關系。第四部分討論女祠堂是否含有貞孝節烈的道德觀念。第五部分力圖發掘女祠堂在徽州婦女觀念中的意義。第六部分作簡單的總結並思考將來可繼續研究的角度。

A Study of Ancestress Temple of Huizhou Area

Abstract ｜
This paper investigates the ancestress temple in Huizhou area , aiming at discussing their statue and function in women’s lives as well as their cultural connotations. The first part of this paper introduces the basic information of the extant ancestress temple by categorizing them and describing their characteristics. The second part is devoted to the origin and development of ancestress temple’s names. The third part explore the relationship between ancestress temple and the clan manners. In the forth part, the author discusses whether these ancestress temples embody the concepts of filiality and chastity. The focus of the fifth part is the influence of ancestress temple upon Huizhuou women. In the last part, the author gives a brief summary and suggests directions for further studies.
